📈Price Increases📈

These items are experiencing a price surge this week:

  • GREEN GRAPES - The supply of grapes remains limited this week, resulting in an increase in market prices.

  • FRENCH BEANS - Several factors are contributing to the increase in prices, including a shortage and delay of containers from Guatemala and Peru, as well as elevated freight costs resulting from the holiday season and adverse weather conditions.

📉Price Drops📉

These items have dropped in price this week:

  • ROMAINE- We are seeing improved availability, which consequently is leading to a reduction in prices and an enhancement in quality on all romaine codes including chopped.

  • BROCCOLI- We're seeing some challenges with cauliflower—prices are climbing, and it's hard to find. On the bright side, broccoli is having a moment! It's more available, and prices are coming down. If you're thinking about swapping one for the other, now's a great time to do it!

🚩Red Flags🚩: Last Week's Supply & Quality Recap

  • Jamon Serrano Update: Out of stock until Thursday due to container delays. Deliveries will resume on Friday. If you need a substitute in the meantime, we have prosciutto in stock for ordering. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

  • Caulini Shortages - The availability of Caulini is expected to remain sporadically limited as we go through the transition period. We anticipate that there will not be any new inventory arriving until this weekend. We recommend substituting in broccolini.

  • Italian Radicchios - We've seen such a surge in interest for these that we actually ran into a bit of a shortage! The growing season always takes a little time to get going, but now that we’re a few weeks in it will the flow is getting better. With demand soaring like never before, we're doing our best to keep everything in stock. If you're thinking about adding these to your menu, make sure to touch base with your rep to check on availability!

  • Peeled Garlic - A decline in quality resulted in shortages last week. We are actively collaborating with a new supplier to replenish stock and ensure the maintenance of high-quality standards to fulfill orders.

  • WA Imports Sauces - A shipment was unexpectedly canceled; consequently, these items will now be restocked by the end of the week.

  • Roots Revival Arugula - We've noticed a recent boost in sales for these, leading to some shortages! We will increase our stock to accomodate but please ensure that you inform your representative about the addition to your menu or consider establishing a standing order to avoid shortages!
