🚩Red Flags🚩: Last Week's Supply & Quality Recap
Mushroom Supply Challenges: With U.S. Thanksgiving around the corner, Ontario and Quebec growers are supporting demand across the border, causing extreme shortages locally—particularly for Brown/Cremini mushrooms. Supply challenges, including growth and delivery issues, have further strained availability. We’re doing our best to maintain inventory and apologize for any inconvenience during this busy period. Thank you for understanding!
Portobellini & Portobello: Unavailable until at least Friday.
#2 Brown/Cremini: Exhausted due to use in sliced products.
Substitutions: Expect White Sliced, White #1, and White #2 where necessary
Peeled baby carrots: Due to a sudden increase in orders last week, we experienced shortages. If you have these items on menus for events, please give our team a heads-up or place orders early so we can plan accordingly, especially as the holidays approach.
Partanna Olive Oil: We experienced a small delay in transportation at the end of last week, but everything is back in stock now!
Romanesco: we'll be sold out of Romanesco for the next few weeks until we start getting shipments from Mexico.
Grape Tomatoes: The supply is running low as Canadian Greenhouses shift to production in Mexico and the USA. Expect a complete cut this week on bulk 20lb cases, and possibly next week too. We'll have a clearer picture by next week Monday!
