📈Price Increases📈

These items are experiencing a price surge this week:

  • DILL WEED - Quebec and Ontario are experiencing significantly reduced yields due to inclement weather conditions heavy rain. Consequently, elevated prices and limited availability are expected to persist into the following week.

  • SESAME BUTTER (TAHINI)- Production cost increase from manufacturer caused price increase.

  • TAJIN SEASONING - Price increase due to a surge in freight costs.

  • TOMATO ROLLED 6/6 & 5/6 - Transition from Maryland/ Virginia tomatoes down to Tennessee growers. Price will stay elevated for a few weeks.

  • CARROT W/TOP PEELED - This week's price increase is likely attributed to limited supplies entering the US, a result of adverse weather conditions in Guatemala.

📉Price Drops📉

These items have dropped in price this week:

  • BEAN FLAT (RUNNER) - Fluctuating prices through July are starting to slowly drop as we go into August.

  • PEA SNOW & PEA SUGAR SNAP - Crops from China have increased, and the supply is steady, resulting in optimal pricing for the season!

  • BLUEBERRY & RASPBERRY- Emerging from a gap and a notable price increase over the last three weeks, the market has now experienced a decrease in prices. We do not anticipate a significant surge in prices in

Red Flags – Get the scoop on shortages

🎇Short Ship Sparks Notes🎇

  • EGG FREE RUN O-3 "CONESTOGA” 15 DZ - The producer is short on BROWN conestoga’s so we are moving to WHITE for the next ~2 weeks.

  • BUTTER STIRLING SHEETS - Production delay. Arrival expected today!

  • STRACCIATELLA - This was a big seller over the long weekend, and on top of that, they are experiencing a production delay. The estimated time of arrival for the shipment to reach us is this week (Thursday), so we will be back in stock for Friday deliveries.

  • POTATO BAKER (code 3913) - Canadian Russets will be unavailable for about a month. But don't worry, we're switching over to fresh new crop USA russets this weekend!

  • WATERCRESS RED - We are expected to restock on Wednesday. Sorry for any shortage you may be experiencing

  • CORN FROZEN (code 7473) - On going delays from the vendors causing this gap. We are set to be back in stock with no more shortages as of today!

  • PLUM YELLOW ONTARIO - We had some quality challenges last week. These issues were attributed to the conclusion of the season, which resulted in the fruit ripening more rapidly due to elevated sugar levels.

  • BROCCOLI CROWN - Quality issues caused us to hold back product and short customers last week. Looks like these issues are behind us now!

  • ASPARAGUS - The market is back on track and stable. The quality is excellent on the new Mexican product coming in.

  • MUSHROOM WHITE BUTTON - We sold out over the long weekend unexpectedly. #1s and #2s Creminis are being prioritized for growth over Buttons by growers.

  • RASPBERRY - Quality issues caused us to hold back product and short customers last week. Looks like these issues are behind us now!

  • GREEN BEANS - Quality issues caused us to hold back product and short customers last week. Looks like these issues are behind us now!

  • POMEGRANATE - we are experiencing a shortage on POMEGRANATES in all pack sizes (codes: 3100,3060,4030). The season in Peru abruptly ended and we are waiting for the California harvest to begin.

    We are being told to expect them to be available again in ~2 weeks. (August 19th)

  • POMILIA BEANS CANNELLINI (code 06531) - We do not plan on restocking these. If you need them please let your rep know for special ordering
