🪴 Produce Pick of the Week 🪴
Local English Peas | Code 8298
Fresh, sweet, and perfectly snappy—Ontario English peas are in peak season and tasting their best right now. Sourced from several local farms, whether you're tossing them into a risotto, folding them into pasta, or just popping them straight from the pod during prep, they’re a spring-summer staple that chefs wait all year for.
![]() | Fun Fact! Peas start converting their natural sugars into starch as soon as they’re picked, which is why fresher = sweeter. That’s also why local supply is such a big deal during peak season. |
