Weekly Market Report for April 14
Welcome to this week’s Bondi Produce Market Report—your go-to source for the latest on pricing and supply updates, what’s at its peak, and what crops are on the horizon. Your competitive edge for the season ahead!
Friendly reminder that Bondi will be closed this Friday, April 18th for Good Friday, so make sure to plan ahead and adjust your orders accordingly! Regular deliveries resume on Saturday. We are open as usual on Monday, April 21st.
Here’s what we’re tracking this week:
📈 What’s Up?: We’re seeing price increases on green beans, dill weed, Pecorino Romano, bok choy, taro root, Swiss Gruyère, red cabbage, grapes, green papaya, dried guajillo peppers, and red petite meadow sorrel due to factors such as tight supply, quality issues, and rising freight costs.
📉 What’s Down?: Prices are decreasing for long red chili peppers, select tomatoes, limes, and Romanesco due to improved supply and seasonal transitions.
