🚩Red Flags🚩: Last Week's Supply & Quality Recap
💚 Basil - Due to last week’s extreme cold, we encountered some challenges with our basil supply. While our team has been working to implement improvements to our packing methods to better protect these delicate herbs, it’s important to note that basil is highly sensitive to fluctuating temperatures.
🍄 Chestnut Mushrooms (code 10273) - Chestnut mushrooms are in short supply right now due to slower-than-usual growth rates. We’re keeping a close eye on the situation and will update you as availability improves!
🥗 Mizuna (code 5173) – Limited supply last week due to weather slowing the growing process, but we’re expecting an improvement this week.
💗 Radicchio Rosa (code 4169) – With demand doubling for Valentine’s menus, we’ve ramped up supply and are ready for your orders.
🔽 Caulini (code 7341) – California’s weather has been throwing curveballs, so supply is hit-or-miss. We’ve got some this week, but expect occasional gaps.
🍌 Frozen Banana (code 4728) – Delivery got delayed (bananas aren’t the only ones slipping), so expect a 1–2 day gap in availability until Wednesday.
🥚 Conestoga Eggs (code 6819) – Supply remains tight. Regular white eggs will be subbed in, and Conestoga eggs will be listed online as soon as they’re available.
🫙Kozlik’s Triple Crunch Mustard (code 7621) - Due to a manufacturing delay in packaging, we experienced a temporary gap in supply for Kozlik's Mustard last week. It is back in stock now!
🌟New & Newsworthy 🌟
Fabio from San Michele stopped by this week, and we were thrilled to have him share his expertise on all things prosciutto! Our team got an inside look at San Michele’s meticulous production process, discovered what makes their prosciutto truly exceptional, and even picked up some pro tips on keeping your prosciutto leg in peak condition (hint: moisturize!). It was an incredible learning experience!
All San Michele’s prosciutti are made with only two ingredients, Mediterranean sea salt and pork. The following SKUs are currently available through Bondi:
